EL AVIÓN

MARZO 2015 (Lo escribo en Julio)

El avión elegido es un PA-28R 201. Esto es, un Piper ARROW III, del año 1978.

Este es el reporte que me envió el amigo que fue a verlo a Carolina del Norte, el lugar donde estaba basado el avión:

Total time:5979.83Engine Total Time 5979.3 TSMO: 236.2 - 5 (years ago).  Engine recently torn down and cam and crank replaced by PenYan (due to camshaft recall)
Propeller total time 5979.83 TSMO: 236.0 (5 year ago).No corrosion noted, under battery box should be cleaned and coated with acid proof paint before there is a corrosion problem.Has McCauley propeller no AD's recurring or due at this time.Previous damage was to the stabilator and left side of fuselage in 1986, repaired and form 337 with records. I believe tail was hit by grass cutting tractor.
There is a spot on leading edge of left wing where paint is different and very slight deformity in leading edge curve, see pictures.
Compression /80 done on warm engine #1 74 #2 74 #3 75 #4 74.
No recent log entry for battery but it appears to be fairly recent, concord lead acid flooded battery.Glass is good in front and pilot sides and fair in rear.
Radio's seem to work . Loran should be removed or placarded inop as well as ADF, antenna missing. All lights work. Interior is fair.
Paint is older repaint.
Static and transponder are due 7/15 and ELT battery is due 5/15.
Annual is due 7/15.
Has original aluminum cables at battery and running forward but from starter relay to starter has been replaced with copper.
Cigar lighter plug has been removed.


Por fuera, se ve "bien", aunque aceptemos que los colores y el diseño de la pintura no le quitan la respiración a nadie....

Mmmmmm "country style". Acogedor... PERO HORRIBLE!!



Bueno... habrá que mejorar esto!!
